George Ramsey – who was a professor at Georgia Tech and who has been a mentor and had deep influence on our work at Village Habitat as well as to countless architectural students, planners and many others.

He was a unique leader helping usher in the era of sustainability in the 1970’s at Georgia Tech – long before it became more popular -teaching a simpler way of life connected to the community and the land with policies capable of transforming the nation.
